Terms of Service

1. Business use only

Aftelio V1 is offered for use in connection with a business, trade, or professional activity — landscape designers, outdoor living designers, pergola installers, patio/hardscape designers, and design-build studios. It is not offered as a consumer/homeowner subscription product. Nothing in this section overrides mandatory consumer-protection law that may otherwise apply to you.

2. What Aftelio is

Aftelio turns a site photo or reference image plus a written description into an AI-assisted photoreal visualization, and lets you iterate on it conversationally while keeping prior accepted design decisions consistent. Read the AI output disclaimer in Section 8 before relying on any output for client deliverables.

3. Your content

You retain whatever rights you already hold in the images and instructions you submit. You grant Aftelio only the rights necessary to receive, store, process, transmit to the service providers required to deliver the service, and generate the outputs you request. We do not claim advertising rights, model-training rights, resale rights, or any broader sublicense over your content.

You must have the right or permission to upload the material you submit — including site and property photographs, customer photographs, and copyrighted source material — and must not upload unlawful or infringing content. We don't independently verify ownership of every image you upload.

4. Plans and credits

Free

5 lifetime credits. No credit card required.

Studio — $29/month

100 credits added after each successful monthly payment.

Pro — $59/month

200 credits added after each successful monthly payment.

How credits work

• A standard generation costs 1 credit.
• If a generation fails, the credit for that attempt is automatically refunded.
• Unused credits roll over and don't expire.
• Credits are an internal usage entitlement only — they have no cash value, are not currency, and are not redeemable for money.
• There are currently no credit top-up purchases outside of a plan's monthly grant.

5. Cancellation

Subscriptions are managed through the Stripe Customer Portal, reachable from Credits & billing. Cancelling stops future subscription billing and future monthly credit grants; whether an in-progress billing period ends immediately or runs to its scheduled end is determined by our Stripe Customer Portal configuration. Credits already granted to your account remain available after cancellation. Cancelling does not entitle you to a monetary refund of amounts already paid.

6. Payments and refunds

A failed generation automatically refunds the credit it consumed — that refund is automatic and doesn't require contacting us. A subscription payment itself is not automatically refunded. We do not yet have a defined monetary refund policy for subscription payments; this is a business decision required before public launch, and this section will be updated once that policy is set.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Aftelio to:

• Break the law or infringe someone else's rights
• Commit fraud or deceptively impersonate a person, brand, or property
• Automate abusive or malicious access to the service
• Attack, probe, or attempt to compromise the security of the service
• Bypass or manipulate the credit or payment system
• Generate unlawful image or written content

8. AI output disclaimer

Aftelio generates AI-assisted conceptual visualizations. Results may contain inaccuracies in dimensions, scale, geometry, materials, exact product appearance, structural feasibility, lighting, landscaping, or construction details.

Aftelio output is not architectural documentation, engineering documentation, construction drawings, measured drawings, structural advice, permit approval, manufacturer specification, or a guarantee of a finished result. As the professional using Aftelio, you remain responsible for verifying measurements, feasibility, applicable regulations, manufacturer requirements, construction details, and anything you deliver to your own clients.

9. Service availability

AI output and processing time can vary, the underlying providers and models we rely on may change, and the service can occasionally fail or be temporarily unavailable. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or a specific service level, and Aftelio's features may evolve over time.

10. Liability

Aftelio is provided on an as-is, as-available basis for professional use. We don't exclude liability that can't lawfully be excluded, and we don't claim Aftelio can never be liable for anything. We also don't set a specific financial liability cap in this version of these Terms — that is flagged for legal review before public launch.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as Aftelio evolves. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
